*Urban Rope Entry Systems by J.Danis : is a rope manual written specificly for the RCMP Victoria Sub Div HQ Emergency Response Team in January 1994, to enhance their capabilities for the XV Commonwealth Games in Victoria BC.
Since then several Police Forces in the United States have adopted the manual and its somewhat different philosophy and approach to rope operations in urban settings. The 2nd Edition was printed in 1997 and the 3rd Edition is due in December 2000.
